Oklahoma is sponsored by the citizen/soldiers of the Oklahoma
National Guard. The Air National Guard hosts STARBASE on
their bases in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The 138th
Fighter Wing in Tulsa provides administrative offices for
STABASE Oklahoma and both Tulsa and the 137th
Air Wing in Oklahoma City provide classrooms for the program.
Each site hosts tours and provide opportunities for students
to experience military technology.
The Army National Guard hosts rocket launches at the Tulsa Army Aviation Support Facility and Field Days at the Lawton Armory.
The Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium partners with STARBASE to provide a Graduate Teacher Training program. Teachers earn 2 hours of graduate credit by attending a week course called "A View from STARBASE".
The Tulsa Air and Space Museum provides an aerospace environment for STARBASE children with a state of the art computer lab and flight simulators.
Spartan Aviation provides a well equipped classroom next to the Air and Space Museum for STARBASE classes.
